The basic law that includes the rules to be applied to disputes arising from debt relations is the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, which came into force on July 1, 2012. Although various contract types are regulated in the Turkish Code of Obligations, there are also contracts regulated in other laws that are not regulated by law.
